Barry M Lip Paint review!

When I first started wearing make-up, Barry M was the brand I was obsessed with. It was cheap and I loved the bold colours. As I got more used to make-up I moved away from Barry M and tried out different brands to experiment with. It wasn't until I happened to look at the Barry M counter the other day that I saw a lovely lipstick from their collection. I always remember how great the Barry M Lip Paints were so I decided to venture back to my old favourite brand and purchase shade 150; Pink Suede!

 

Barry M Lip Paint shade 150 is a beautiful brownish pink that looks very natural on the lips. It comes in classic black, square packaging which I personally love. The case and lipstick does seem a lot smaller than it used to be. The lipstick glides on the lips smoothly and is really surprisingly moisturising. I love how it feels more like a balm that a lip 'paint.' The smell really does smell like paint though. Thankfully the scent doesn't stay on my lips! The staying power is absolutely amazing. It stays on for hours without the need to re-apply. It is soft, smooth and really comfortable to wear. 

 

 

First impressions of this lipstick are fantastic. Moisturising, very pigmented and has amazing staying power. However, as the lipstick wears off the lips it does become quite drying. A little bit of lip balm with sort this out though. It wouldn't put me off from buying another Barry M lipstick because there are so many advantages including the price which is £4.49!

VERDICT - There are over 30 shades to choose and Barry M do such a wide selection of colours (green and black included!) But you have to be careful in which colour you choose. Some of the bolder colours (reds and pinks) are really drying on the lips when applied. This colour was perfect though. It applied beautifully and smooth. It felt so natural on my lips and I loved the colour. I would recommend this lipstick to everyone. You get a lot for the price of £4.49. I absolutely love my Lip Paint and have been wearing it constantly. It stays on my lips for absolutely ages. I will definitely be re-purchasing!
