Bourjois claim this little box is the beginners guide to achieving that perfect manicured nail. I have never been any good with painting my nails and I haven't got a steady hand so I was excited to try this out!

I absolutely love this product! French manicures are timeless, sophisticated and now effortless! There are three simple steps to follow for the perfect professional look. First I applied So Laque Ultra-Shine Rose Lounge on the whole nail as instructed. This is a gorgeous peachy pink that gives the nail a healthy appearance. The polish dries quickly with a glossy finish. The colour is the perfect shade for that 'fresh' summer look. One coat of this polish is perfect for a natural nude look but two applications look perfect on the nails.

 

The next step is what makes this manicure set so easy. Apply Blanc glamour (French liner) to the tips of the nail in one simple stroke, turning over the brush to cover the second half. The brush is angled and makes it really easy to apply. It is adapted to the nails natural tip. I do have to apply two coats to achieve full coverage. However, some people may find this part difficult as you do need a steady hand. I love the fact that this polish does dry fast so I can achieve my manicure quickly.

 

The final step is a beautiful gloss that adds sheen to the nails. It finished the look off perfectly along with protecting the my new manicure.

VERDICT - At £9.99, Bourjois French Manicure set helps me achieve the perfect manicured nail without the salon prices. So Laque Ultra-Shine Rose Lounge makes a beautiful base coat on the nail. The gorgeous nude colour gives the nail a healthier looking appearance with glossy shine. The base coat may need two applications for full coverage. Blanc glamour has a small angled brush that is specially designed to match the curve of the nail, making the polish easy to apply to the tip of the nail. Some people may dislike this part of the manicure as you really do need a steady hand despite of the angled brush. Finally, apply the top coat which gives the nail a glossy finish. A disadvantage of this set is once it begins to chip, you have to reapply the whole entire manicure again.

 

Bourjois French Manicure set makes my nails appear healthier with a clean and glossy appearance. The manicure looks natural on the nails. In my book, this is the perfect manicure set for everyone - especially beginners. A total must-have for those who want perfect manicured nails without the salon prices.
