L'Oreal Paris Superliner Blackbuster Intense review!

 

L'Oreal Paris Superliner Blackbuster Intense is a thick eye-liner pen. The tip is almost like a marker pen, making it easy to create thick graphic lines. I wear eye liner most days so I am always looking for new ones to try out. I was drawn to this liner because of the simple yet classic black and gold packaging. I was immediately impressed with this product!

 

 

 

I haven't got a very steady hand but the tip of the liner is chunky so I found I could apply this product easily. It dries quickly on the lid and doesn't smudge at all. In one simple sweep, I had a thick line that looked almost effortless! This is a perfect eye liner for anyone wanting the swinging sixties make up look. The line can be thicken easily too. You can make a really thin line or a thick line depending on how you use the pen.

 

A thick tip makes it easy and effortless to apply to the eyes.

The staying power of this eye liner is absolutely amazing. I have never had an eye liner that stays on for so long! It doesn't budge from morning to evening.  When it comes to removing the product though, it comes off straight away. I don't need to rub at my eyes which is always a plus! This is a fantastic product for anyone after an eye liner that doesn't need touching up through out the day.

 

 

Although there are a lot of advantages to this eye liner there are a few faults with it. It claims to be an intense black however I find it to be a gray/light black shade at the most. If you want the liner to look completely black, the colour would need to be built up quite a bit.

Also, the lid isn't the best to say the least. Sometimes, when I pull the lid is doesn't come off the pen. I'm not sure why but I find it happening more often. I have read other reviews with other people also complaining of this problem.

VERDICT - On the whole, I really enjoy using this liner. It is easy to apply and creates a thick line (or a thin one if you use the tip of the pen). The staying power of this liner is amazing and does not need touching up at all through out the day. At £6.99, I definitely think this eye liner is a beauty must-have, despite the annoying pen lid. I'm not really bothered about the colour not being totally black as I can gradually build the shade up. With this eye liner everyone can have the perfect Bardot cat eye!
