Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer review!

Apocalips in 500 Luna, 101 Celestial and 600 Nude Eclipse.

At £5.99, the new Rimmel Apocalips is a beauty bag must-have for everyone. In eight different shades, this product is not a lipgloss nor a lipstick. Apocalips glides on the lips in a creamy texture like a gloss and is very rich in colour like a bold lipstick. I have never used a product quite like this one! These are really rich and pigmented, apply nicely and the gloss lasts a good few hours. Unlike some products, once the gloss has worn off the colour left behind still looks good as it leaves a matt stain so it won't need to be applied often.

I have Apocalips in shades 500 Luna, 600 Nude Eclipse and 101 Celestial. There is a shade for everyone as these lacquers come in neon brights (berry shades, pinks and dramatic reds) to creamy nudes. The brush is an amazing applicator as the product transfers perfectly to the lips, without mess. If that isn't enough, I really do find this product out of this world as the packaging suggests. It looks almost space-like and is sure to stand out in your beauty stash!

Swatches: 101 Celestial, 500 Luna and 600 Nude Eclipse.

101 Celestial - This is a lovely pinky shade that will compliment every skin tone. It is pretty eye-catching and a very girly shade.

500 Luna - One of my favourites. It is a lovely bright coral colour and livens up my make-up. It is a very summery and will no doubt be a best-seller in the coming months.

600 Nude Eclipse - A beautiful light nude shade although it may need to be blotted to avoid looking too nude (concealer-lips!) However, this nude colour looks great against my pale skin.

Like most Rimmel products, I love the cool fruity smell this product gives off. I admit that the cucumber scent may not be for everyone but is very subtle and would not put me off from purchasing this miracle lip lacquer.

VERDICT - Rimmel is definitely onto a winner with this lip lacquer! It is glossy yet as bold and pigmented as a lipstick. The texture is glossy without being tacky or sticky. It lasts a lot longer than I expected. At £5.99, I can't wait to buy more of these shades without burning a hole in my wallet! I urge everyone to buy one of these babies because you certainly will not regret it!
